The Bible is, and will continue to be the best-selling book of all time.  Supporting data for this statement is a matter of record while the future aspect is my opinion.  But what is it that makes this phenomenal record continue year after year?  For some it may be the draw of the good moral teachings, regardless of the source.  For others, it may simply be the desire to feel a sense of connection with the realm of Christianity.  For me and many others, it is the desire to have in our possession the very words and will of God Almighty, Himself.  It’s unfortunate there are many who do not subscribe to the belief that the Bible is the inerrant Word of God, even some who are professing Christians.  To them it is no more than a good guide for life, or even a collection of myths and fables.

It’s time for us who believe the Bible to be God’s word to WAKE UP and to develop a solid understanding for our belief and to share this with others!  This matter is imperative because the very word spoken by Jesus is that which will judge us at the last day (John 12:48).  Our failure to consider this book’s importance will indeed cause us to fall that much more short of God’s glory! Do you believe the Bible to be God’s word?  If so, what do you base your belief on?  Can you explain it to others?  Do you know where it says, “All scripture is inspired of God,” or “holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit?”  If not, do you have an idea where to start your search for which books of the Bible you might find these passages?  These internal declarations make a claim to have Divine authorship of scripture, but are they enough?  For centuries men have studied and accepted scripture on its own merit, and now with attacks against its veracity on the rise, science and archeology have begun to weigh in on it, supporting what has been accepted in the past simply by faith.  Space does not allow me to elaborate further here, but I challenge you, learn for yourself and for those you wish to share with, those things that are evidence of God as the author of the Bible!  Your eternal future and that of others depends upon it!
